Film Screening: “The Journey: The Greek American Dream”

The film “The Journey: The Greek American Dream” narrates the story of Greek immigration to America from 1890 to 1980 and includes interviews with prominent Greek Americans. The film’s award-winning director, Maria Iliou, and Professor Alexander Kitroeff, historian and leading authority on the Greek Diaspora, will offer introductory remarks.
The event celebrates the creation of the UIUC Modern Greek Studies Program. It is sponsored by the Program and Provost Linda Katehi.
