Winter Tales Workshop: Storytelling of the First Peoples

- Location: Spurlock Museum, 600 S. Gregory St., Urbana, IL
- Cost: $30 adults and $20 students. A box lunch can be added for $10. Reservations are required.
Description from workshop presenter Cherokee Storyteller Lloyd Arneach: This workshop will touch on many items under the title's umbrella. What storytelling meant to us. How it was used. What certain animals meant to us. We will talk about the connections between us, the animals, Mother Earth, and Spirituality. Storytelling differences between tribes, and who could tell the stories.
