Enhance your Spurlock Museum experience with hands-on activities in the Zahn Learning Center. During ZLC Open Hours (ZLC OH), visitors of all ages enjoy engaged learning through exhibit-related crafts and access to teaching artifacts and books. Weekend parking is free in non-metered, non-reserved spots in lot D 22, behind the Museum (enter lot on Oregon).

The 2014 Winter Olympics are closing tomorrow, and ZLC staff are ready to bring out the Olympian in you. The fleet of foot and eye will spot the Olympic artifacts in our galleries with a seek and find. Roman numerals aren’t so imposing with a little practice – review the system and master the quiz! Find five participating countries on our globe, and take a guess at which events are ancient or modern. Craft a paper laurel leaf wreath and paper torch. Complete multiple projects and leave with a medal!
