National Medal of Arts, Pulitzer Prize, and Grammy Award-winner William Bolcom discusses his groundbreaking compositions for the stage, including collaborations with film director Robert Altman on the operas McTeague and A Wedding. A panel discussion with Bolcom will follow on the future of music on the American stage, with participants from theater, dance, and music.
