The speakers are emeritus professors of ancient history and classical archaeology who throughout much of their careers worked toward the creation of the Spurlock Museum. They have been especially active in the development of the Workman Gallery of Ancient Mediterranean Cultures and they will discuss the importance of the objects displayed there. The group will gather in the Hundley Central Core Gallery and proceed to the classical collection.

This event is organized by the Central Illinois Society of the Archaeological Institute of America and hosted by the Spurlock Museum.
