The Spurlock Museum joins Smithsonian magazine in its eighth annual Museum Day. During this event, hundreds of museums and cultural institutions nationwide open their doors free of charge to Smithsonian magazine readers and Smithsonian.com (external link) visitors.

Some of the participating institutions, like the Spurlock Museum, have daily free admission. To gain free entry to museums regularly charging admission, attendees must present Smithsonian magazine’s Museum Day Admission Ticket.
