Earth Beat: A Celebration of World Cultures through Storytelling, Puppetry, Dance, and Music

Join central Illinois performers for a new tour celebrating the Spurlock Museum's exhibits and artifacts. In this two-hour, gallery-based program, children ages 7 through 14 and their parents will watch cultures come alive through performance art. Among the experiences will be a Monkey King puppet show in the Asian Gallery, Irish dance in the European Gallery, and storytelling in the American Indian Gallery. The end of the tour will be a craft time for all participants. Download information on the performers below.
