Partial gallery closure

Event Date: Monday, July 11, 2011–Wednesday, August 31, 2011

Starting on July 12, the Mesopotamia exhibit will undergo redevelopment. It will re-open in the fall with some new artifacts and an interactive installation. Some areas of the Africa and Egypt exhibits will also be affected during this period. All three exhibits in the Africa gallery (Egypt, Mesopotamia, and Africa) will be closed to the public for the month of August. We apologize for the inconvenience.
