The King Family Band puts on a high energy Bluegrass show that features two state of Illinois banjo champions. Tim and Kim King and their seven children perform bluegrass and gospel favorites, show tunes such as dueling banjos, and original music that you may have heard on bluegrass radio. No show is complete without their grand finale which includes seven fiddlers all playing each other's instruments.
This exhibition is one of many events showcasing the local area's wealth of talent as a part of the 2011 Boneyard Arts Festival. For more information on the festival, visit the 40 North website.
Museum visitors are reminded that outside food and drinks are not allowed in the Museum. Backpacks and other large items brought to the Museum will have to be stored; there is limited locker storage space available for these items.
