Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day 2009

The Spurlock Museum joins Smithsonian Magazine in its fifth annual Museum Day. During this event, hundreds of museums and cultural institutions nationwide open their doors free of charge to Smithsonian magazine readers and Smithsonian.com visitors.

Some of the participating institutions, like the Spurlock Museum, have daily free admission. To gain free entry to museums regularly charging admission, attendees must present Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day Admission Card. The card is available in the September 2009 issue of Smithsonian magazine and from the Smithsonian’s Museum Day website (external link).
