WorldFest: Improvisers Exchange Workshop with Mike Block and Sandeep Das

Mike Block is a pioneering cello player, singer, composer, and educator, hailed by Yo-Yo Ma as the "ideal musician of the 21st-Century." As an educator, Mike is passionate about creativity and collaboration, and is the founding director of Silkroad’s Global Musician Workshop. Along with tabla virtuoso Sandeep Das, participants in this workshop will gain a better understanding of how improvisation factors in the work of this exceptionally eclectic duo.
