Zahn Learning Center Open Hours: Calligraphy and the Four Treasures of the Scholar's Studio

Enhance your Spurlock Museum experience with activities in the Zahn Learning Center. During ZLC Open Hours (ZLC OH), visitors can enjoy exhibit or cultural-related crafts, and access to teaching artifacts and books. $2 per crafter to cover materials. Weekend parking is free in non-metered, non-reserved spots in lot D 22, behind the Museum (enter lot on Oregon).

Explore the Four Treasures of the Scholar's Studio (brush, inkstick, paper, and inkstone) with teaching artifacts and a visit to our Asian gallery. Try out your hand for calligraphy by practicing on our buddha boards, then make a black ink painting scroll and finish with a red ink chop stamp.
