Published Description

Missing palmette top and lower portion of right foot at corner. Relief of a running, dancing, or falling (dying) nude hoplite wearing an Attic helmet. The legs are viewed from the side to the right, the chest is frontal with the head facing left. Probably a Pyrrhic dancer. Also known as the Marathon runner.
