Join the Russian, East European, and Eurasian Center for a screening of 2000 Meters to Andriivka (2025), directed by Mstyslav Chernov, to commemorate the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The film screening will be followed by a discussion with Olha Khometa (Assistant Professor, Slavic Languages & Literatures).
This screening is cosponsored by the Spurlock Museum of World Cultures and the Department of Slavic Languages & Literatures, in partnership with Razom.
Film Synopsis: A Ukrainian platoon attempts to liberate a strategic village from Russian forces. A journalist joins them, observing the impacts of war and growing doubts about its resolution.
